 I've been drawing for as long as I can remember and designing cards for friends and loved ones for at least half that time! The year that was 2020 provided the push I needed, to finally share my work with the world.

Growing up in a peaceful beach town in Florida, the sun played a big part of my early life. And though people might think of New York City as one of the last places to see the sky, I make a point of doing so as often as I can. Without a doubt, my happy place is lying in the grass or on a blanket on the sand, in the warmth of the sun, looking up at that beautiful blue. Thus, the name for this project.

My artwork is simple—inspired by the beauty I see around me, 

from patterns in architecture, to colors in nature, to shapes of everyday objects. 

My hope is that my cards bring as much joy to those who give and receive them as the blue sky and sunshine bring to me.
